What is an Introduction Dive?
An Introduction Dive (also known as a Discover Scuba Diving experience) is the first diving experience for anyone with no prior diving background. Its purpose is to let you experience real diving and explore the beauty of the underwater world safely under the supervision of a professional instructor.
This type of dive is not a certification course, but rather a recreational and introductory experience. Before entering the water, the instructor explains the basics, such as how to use diving equipment, how to breathe underwater, and simple hand signals used during the dive.
The dive takes place in shallow, calm water, and the instructor stays with you step by step throughout the experience to ensure you feel comfortable and safe. No prior experience is required, and everything is explained and practiced in a simple and easy way.
The experience includes two dives, giving you more time to get comfortable and enjoy the underwater world. It also includes a fresh lunch on board the boat, in addition to free soft drinks and hot drinks throughout the day, making it a complete full-day experience rather than just a single dive.
The main goal of an Introduction Dive is to give you your first taste of diving and help you decide whether you would like to continue with a full Open Water course.
In short, it is the easiest and safest way to enter the diving world and discover the beauty of the sea from below the surface.
